“Nanette was like Eat Pray Love for queer autistics” And so it was, and this brilliantly written, darkly funny, and unapologetically raw glimpse into the artist that created it only heightens my respect for the piece. Hannah Gadsby is a trailblazer and this is hands down the best book I’ve read all year

Hannah is just an inspiring person over all. This book is another one of their masterpieces. Beautifully written, introspective, assertive, sad, but at other times witty and lighthearted. They really let you in even more.

You will like this especially (but not exclusively) as a fan of their special Nanette! I sure did!

I get the gist that the audiobook narrated by Hannah would be much better. However, I had the physical copy and it was such a slow slog to get through. I almost quit reading several times, but then it picked up in the middle, just for the end to slog again.
Just a personal opinion, but would not recommend!

Listened to this on audible because Hannah is a brilliant comedian so having her own voice read it really brings the story to life. Amazing and insightful. Can’t believe her life and fascinating how she describes her own mind.
