This was sometimes a bit hard to follow with the audiobook. It was a bit slow in the beginning, setting up characters and the background. Once the story started to pick up it was quite engaging!

It almost broke my ❤ not to give this a 5. However, it was good in that way that only Ward can write it... This felt like a building up to something big bad kinda story (Hopefully where a badguy gets dusted Forever!), and in the end we're left with a whole lot of questions to be answered. First let's chat about Lydia & Daniel... I almost want to call it slow burning... these two are so hot for each other but the hands off thing, was... I was like, "Dang it! Just do the thing!" I liked the side characters such as Candy, Eastwind, and even C.P. ...maybe... I love that a BDB character is going to be closely connected at some point! Xhex! Yes! She's so bada$$!!
