This was a good easy read. Quite predictable, but as expected. I struggle with novellas and short stories and I feel bad about marking the book down for that, but that’s just my honest feeling towards the book. I liked that it starts at the present day and then flashes back, gradually building up to the moment they get together. Also, is Liam ace? He says he doesn’t like sex, so I’m assuming so. I would have liked for this to be explored more, but I think it’s great that Ali Hazelwood includes asexuality in her stories (e.g. Love Hypothesis)

I really enjoyed getting to meet Mara and Liam. With every enemies to lovers storyline, comes great banter. This novella showed that family does not stop at blood. We are also taught that you should do what you love and love what you do. This novella was my favorite of the three, it definitely had the potential to be a full novel.

This one did not work for me.
Mara and Liam had no chemistry and I found both of them so weird and annoying. Also who talks that much during sex? If it had been a regular novel I'm sure I would have DNF'd it. But knowing it was just a short story I pushed through it. I was actually excited to read the three short stories before Love On The Brain comes out later this year but now I'm not sure if I'm still interested anymore. I liked The Love Hypothesis but after finishing Under One Roof it feels like if I have read one book by Ali Hazelwood I've seen it all.

Short and sweet. Good to read if you’ve missed Ali Hazelwood’s writing.

Enemies to lovers: basically Mara and Liam move in together without knowing anything about the other person.AND while Mara cares for the environment and works as somebody who does stuff with environment , Liam works at a company that does something with oil.
So they’re working for the opposite side .
At first they hate each other but then..
Can’t deny that it had me giggling at 1am but the rest was quite boring.
The ending was soo rushed but I liked the character dynamics.
Overall I’m not a huge fan of romance, but this was short so i guess not that big of a waste of my precious time
