This will stay with me for a long time. I can't stress enough how good the ending is. I genuinely couldn't have imagined it better than this.
I fell in love with every character, their complexities, struggles and desires were so genuine, so carefully explored and so human. I feel like I've lived a lifetime with them.
Loved the interweaving of the modern storyline with it but it never felt obtrusive. Marian's story always remained at the centre.

I’ll be honest, I was underwhelmed and gave up up on this book several times before finally finishing it. I was distracted and annoyed with the spoiled movie star storyline. Regardless of my personal opinion, it is evident that the author is super talented. This book just was not in my wheelhouse.

The characters were great and I thought Marian’s story was so fascinating. Part of me feels like Hadley’s part could’ve been left out? I can see the parallels between her and Marian, but I found the twins’ story much more interesting and usually was just waiting to get back to them.
