Sam (H) spies Emily (h) moving into a long deserted farmhouse near his remote mountain cabin and it's instant attraction. They both have past experiences that make their lives challenging - he's ex-military and is trying to work through his PTSD and she's running from her secrets. When Emily's old life catches up to her new one, Same steps in to protect and look after her. Fun quickie romantic novella with an HEA for MCs (and nice use of the farm).

This was such a great mountain man romance. I loved this story, it had an interesting storyline and a lot of heart. Sam was such a great hero even with all his scars or maybe because of them. The connection he had with Emily was instantaneous and the chemistry that emerged from it was amazing. I loved it.
