the hottest thing about edward has always been his sister, so i loved how much we see of alice this time around lol.

this feels better written than the original series (especially that abomination that is breaking dawn), but my opinion could be skewed by the fact that it’s been years since i read them originally. this really feels like it’s written with the people that grew up with the series in mind, and i think that that’s quite sweet. but did this really need to be this long? absolutely not. but did i have the time of my life finally getting to see more the cullens in general, even though so much of this book is edward lamenting their situation in a multitude of ways? yessss

ENFIN FINI ESTI. 1 MOIS + TARD.
This book was so long ; i can’t see a non-fan of twilight ever reading this. I’m a huge twilight fan, and this was long and hard to read even for me.
800 pages on kindle. At some point I switched for audio because i was dying.

This was better than Twilight. Midnight Sun gives an overall view of why Bella and Edward love each other, the things they have in common, their inside jokes, their love. It’s heartwarming and heartbreaking and I loved it….but it’s long. Overly long at points. In the beginning, Edwards thoughts are very repetitive and I caught myself skimming long paragraphs because of their repetitiveness.

But it was still a wonderful view of Edward and his family during the first twilight book. I enjoyed learning more about each family member. Not just their histories but their interests and hobbies. How they interact with each other. Their reactions to this absurd romance. I’d love to read Edwards POV for New Moon. To learn what he did during his time away from Bella.

Overall a wonderful read and interesting view but it’s absurd and unnecessary length will probably deter me from re reading it in the future.

saw a snail today…… effervescent

!!!!! Okay, so I haven’t read anything twilight for ten years and this took me back in time. I loved every second of it.

I wish I could give half stars, cause I loved the book but tbh, its so incredibly drawn out. I'm sure it's hard to add stuff to a book where we already know what's going on, but it felt repetitive at some points. Like no Edward, I don't need to be reminded of how much being around Bella hurts, I remember from the last 5 million times you mentioned it!! Anyway, good book, reading Twilight as we speak.

Some people just hate fun (the booktube girlies). But I don't, so I enjoyed this book! Because it's the same story as the original Twilight book, it has many of the same problems, but the writing in this is marginally better than what I remember of the first one. It’s a bit long for my taste, but if you read the original series back in the day, you will enjoy this book.
