After the disastrous dumpster fire that was Bridgerton season 3 part 2, this book was a delight. A story solely focusing on what's important, which is, of course, Penelope and Colin. A story with characters reacting appropriately to "the big reveal." And most importantly, a story with two characters who actually talk to each other. The "childhood friends to lovers" trope has always had a special place in my heart, and this book was one of the best examples.

FYI, the Carriage Scene was so much better in the book!
