interesting, definitely not my usual read (sports genre plus crime syndicates?) but fun!

This book made me want to throw my kindle out the window. If you love 00s tumblr then maybe this book is for you, but for me I couldn’t get past the ridiculous premise and found the characters two-dimensional and unlikeable whilst the writing made me both cringe and feel deeply uncomfortable.

I honestly don't have words to explain this book. It wasn't good.......and yet I have to know what happens.

I honestly enjoyed it! it was interesting. There were so many characters tho that i get so confused but I’ll probably get used to it soon. The last part of this book was really interesting.

I like andrew idk why.

I really like neil. Reading what happened to him was really sad . I’m glad he’s trusting the foxes. I really hope he finds a family in them ❤️

'Neil was much better at instigating fights than winning them, but it'd be worth losing if he could just put a fist through Kevin's face once.'
(Neil's character summarised)

*pterodactyl screaming*
I had to reread the book series after finishing The Sunshine Court and I somehow love it even more than during my other 2 rereads. Especially after seeing Neil from another person's pov and realising how insane this little stickball fanatic really is and how much of an unreliable narrator he is.
Even though he claims to wanting to stay alive more than anything, he would rather start fights left and right with his 'attitude problem' than comfortably survive.
Neil Josten, what a character.

Is it a good book? To be honest, no idea, probably not but I am too distracted by how much joy it brings me.

(have to change my rating from 4 to 5 stars. this will be my personality for the next few.... months)

I'm just really biased. I don't know why I love this series, it's just unhinged.
