The updated audible with commentary from the author is great. The short stories themselves are captivating, but it's great hearing where the author found inspiration, how it was adapted for the tv show (why something may have been knitted or changed) and how everyone, including the actors, being perspective into the newer story.

What I found most interesting is how the author sees the show and screenplay as collaborative with him and/or an evolution of the character he created.
dark emotional tense fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Makes me want to watch the show.

Not sure how i got this book. I think it was a freebie on my new kindle. But honestly who cares.... I'm in love with Letty. Bring on more Blake Crouch.

It's no Wayward Pines (my favourite of Crouch's, by far!) but it was entertaining.

Blake Crouch has been recommended to me by so many people and I’m so glad I started with Good Behavior. Letty is such a raw character from the first page and she remains so throughout the stories. She’s funny, sharp, and desperate. I can’t wait to read more from Crouch.
adventurous dark tense fast-paced

I went into reading this book thinking I would get a fuller version of the show "Good Behavior". but it was the most disappointing read ever and I have been disappointed by some of the best. Honestly there is not one good thing to say.

Got this to compare to the show. Not sure I would have gotten the book if it weren't for the show. I really enjoy the show. The book lacks the cohesiveness and the interpersonal relationships developing in the show, which is why I like the show much more than the book. I generally don't like short stories, but these were better for me than other short stories in that they at least have the same main character.

A small collection of three short stories from the life of a career criminal.

What I really enjoyed most about this was Blake Crouch’s commentary on turning the scripts into television episodes. There were some really cool pieces of insight.

The stories themselves were really fun and didn’t leave me going “wait, what?” like so many short stories seem to do. A very fun read!!!

Thoughts: I'm an idiot - I thought this was a romance book, apparently this is now a show? Not for me..it was interesting, just not for me.
