2 might be generous but I did like the idea of the book. But, I had to re-read sections so many times because nothing was sticking. I'm still not sure what I even read.

Took so long to get to the point, I was bored halfway through but didn’t want to DNF because there were some interesting moments. Unfortunately it just fell flat toward the end - all the mysteries are revealed sooo close to the ending, and all that build up for…. Such a strange final scene. It’s kind of set up for a sequel so I wonder if there will be one?

This book was definitely a crazy one. I enjoyed it but I was disappointed by the ending. I was hoping for more to the ending so that it wasn’t so open. This book is like weird horror with haunted house aspects which I love. Solid 3 ⭐️
