This story is really taking off. I like the mini flashbacks that give us a bit more information but don't take away from the progress of the story. They really add a bit of depth to the characters and the story that it was lacking before. Volume 1 ended so shockingly and I but the way that this one concludes was even more jaw dropping. It is obvious that this one is well thought out because there are so many parallels between what is currently happening and what happened in the past. As well, it is progressing quickly, but not too quickly that we can't understand the direction of the story or what is happening. I like that there is just enough time spent on each incident that we know what is happening and they key people involved, but don't get bogged down with one scene or one person that we forget about the rest of the story. Highly recommend you start this one if you haven't already.
