wow! so this volume was awesome. i really loved getting to see a little backstory on mikasa, so far, her and eren are my fav characters obviously! i like how they’re two of the highest ranked. also that ending, um what?? i’m definitely planning to binge this series! it’s so gruesome at times but at least it’s in black and white so it doesn’t seem too gross lol

I really appreaciated the scene that was left out in the anime. It gave the reader a better understanding of Mikasa. All in all I still prefer the anime because some of the scenes in this volume just weren't as suspenseful and emotionally gripping as in the show.

I had a lot of fun reading this and am excited to read the rest of the series.

I found it funny to look at the faces on some of the panels, but it's interesting to see the panels develop over the series!
