This book was absolutely amazing. I loved that it told us what happened to Lucas in his past where he went by Landon. I really enjoyed reading the book in Landon/ Lucas's point of view and I loved that he got so protective about Jacqueline. He liked her way before he even met her and he lost himself in her and he started falling for her and they did not even date long. They both made each other better and now I know that him being with Jacqueline is one of the best things that ever happened because he is finally starting to believe that its not his fault his mom was killed and he could not help her. Jacqueline somehow also made his father better by starting to talk to Lucas again and embracing what happened to them all those years back.

I really love their story! It's not just a surface instalove and they're very real, relatable people. I'm not a huge fan of the second perspective story, but this may be one of the best ones I've read. It was JUST retold from Lucas's POV. It was his POV mixed in with his whole background growing up, so it brought new material to the table which I really appreciated!
I'm content with reading their story and I'm really not interested in reading the third book which is about Landon's high school friend Boyce. There's apparently a 4th book that's going to come out too that is Erin's story. I might read that. Who knows.

I loved this so much. My heart broke for Landon and I'm happy for Lucas.

I loved Easy. It was probably one of the best YA fiction books, I ever read. So when I saw Breakable on a grocery store shelf of all places I thought: Why wasn't I informed! I wanted more of Lucas and his tortured soul and this book promised to deliver. But then I found out he was kinda an asshole. Let down.

This was just amazing! I really fell in love with the first in this series - Easy, last year when I read it. And when I saw that Tammara was bringing out Lucas' POV I was just super stoked to see what she could do with a story that I already loved beyond words.
And let me tell you - she knocked it out of the park! By reading Lucas' POV you just fall more in love - if that's possible - with this sweet and a little misunderstood man. He was such a supportive character in Easy when Jacquline required it, and this second book showed the depth of his understanding that she required.
There was a few new scenes that were added in this book, that I don't remember reading in Jacquline's book - but it was wonderful to read more of their story!
I can't say enough about this series and the characters that Tammara has created - I just adored this SO much!! There was such a amazingly lifting energy that you got from reading Easy, and it really carried on through this story as well.

I've rated this as "Liked It" because that's how I felt when I got to the end. I REALLY WANTED TO LOVE THIS BOOK. I REALLY DID! But by half way through I found myself skipping pages and just wanting to move forward with the story. And that's never a good sign.

I really enjoyed getting into Lucas's head and reading this thoughts. I gotta say, he has a beautiful mind. The way he thinks and understands and sees the world is beautiful. I sort of understood him a lot more than I did when reading the book from Jackie's POV. Maybe it's because we're both into drawing and sketching (although, I doubt I'm as good as he is). But anyway, I loved how he noticed things about Jackie (like her hands and fingers moving) and how he found beauty in her little quirks.

I also loved seeing how a sensitive and attuned guy Lucas really is. From Jackie's POV -- at least from what I can remember since I haven't reread the book in a while -- Lucas seemed like such a confident, bad-boy type of guy. So seeing that he really isn't. He isn't as confident of himself as Jackie perceived; he isn't as bas-ass and unapproachable as his tattoos and piercing make him out to be; and he's one smart cookie. I loved that about him. He's vulnerable.

Now, what I didn't like about the book:

I enjoyed reading about his past and at one point, it sounded like the same thing happening over and over again
Spoilerhim getting in trouble for drinking/smoking pot/fighting/skipping school, and it just felt some of the section of the "flashbacks" were just saying the same things over and over again. I don't know if that was just me, or if anyone else found it a little repetitive

Also, there were times when I got confused as to what was happening. If it was happening in his head or if it was actually happening.

Anyway, it was a good book. I enjoyed it but I had hoped it would have been a little bit better. I had huge expectations for this book.

I love the characters in this series and both stories have shown how they get over their own personal hurdles and the hurdles they have as a couple. The writing was emotional and grasped me as a reader throughout the book. This was better than the first book in the duology.

I remember really enjoying Easy, though it has been a while since I read it. When I saw Sweet was coming out I found that I missed Breakable somehow so I decided to check it out first. Well I was a bit disappointed in it honestly. This is the same story as Easy, only from Lucas' point of view.

When Lucas first sees Jacqueline he is drawn to her. It is in the class that he is the tutor for, but which he sits through so he can go over what has been covered with those students needing help. He can't help but watch her during class even though she has a boyfriend. Plus nothing can come of it since he is the tutor for the class.

When Jacqueline's boyfriend breaks up with her she almost tanks her grades. To make it up she has to do an extra assignment with the help of the class tutor, Landon. As she starts to get closer to Lucas she doesn't realize that she also writes to him as Landon the tutor. It was kind of creepy in a way. I remember liking him in Easy, but with his telling of the story? Not so much. He definitely should have told her sooner who he was.

That and what happened in the past? What he blames himself for? It is one of those obviously he is not responsible but he is determined to blame himself situations. I had forgotten what happened to him, so when I got the entire story I was just like oh, okay. One of these situations. I don't know what it was exactly, but I just didn't really connect with Lucas. Oh well, it just wasn't my favorite read.

The first thing I want to point out is that this is not Easy re-written. I'm going to guess that Tammara Webber read Beautiful Disaster and it's sequel, Walking Disaster, and tried to devise a way to do it better. She succeed- To an enormous degree. Breakable is phenomenal. It does assume that you've already read Easy, so I suggest that any readers new to the story start there. In a way though, (at least in my opinion) Breakable is a better book. I've read all of Webber's novels now and she seems to get better with every one. Breakable is complex and intense. She allows us to see into Lucas's past and what made him the way he is. It was so interesting to read this because while I knew how the story would ultimately end, I had no idea what was coming next. This was undoubtedly Lucas's story and Webber told it as such. I loved the extra scenes she threw in after Jacqueline and Lucas were a couple. It was great to seem their relationship grow stronger before the flash forward to Lucas's graduation.

I don't really know how to continue with this review because I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed the book and I'm pretty terrible at doing anything but being a jerk and ripping bad books apart so I'm going to end this by telling you all that I'm not sure whether this is a 4 or a 5 star rating. I REALLLLLY want to give it a 5, but I think I'm so mad that the story is over that I can't. So only 4 stars for you Tammara because you could have made this book twice as long some how and didn't. I'm inexplicably angry that Lucas and Jacqueline's stories are done and that Tammara doesn't have another book to anticipate.

GIVE ME ANOTHER BOOK, TAMMARA (any book)! NOW! ARE YOU WRITING RIGHT THIS SECOND?! YOU SHOULD BEEEE!

Unbreakable is divided into two stories. The first a prequel on Landon and his life right after the events of his of his mother to right before leaving with Heller for college. The season is Lucas POV from "Easy"

The prequel involving Landon was somewhat dry for me. Had trouble trying to focus during these parts, but at time there were some interesting parts. Also it shows why how why is the way he is in "Easy". As for Lucas' POV in the book from "Easy", I adored reading this (there something about reading the same book, but from a guys perspective that I love. I was the same way towards "Walking Disaster"). Yes it is the same story as read from "Easy" but with a few added scenes. Over all favorite part of the book was this.
