I really wanted to like this…
I had major problems with Darcey’s brother. I found his weird meddling in her relationships extremely off putting. I get he was trying to “look after her”, but it was still definitely not his place.
I also had major issues with the idea that Darcy would risk her new business venture to go out with her bosses sister? Very strange…
Lastly, I felt like all of the supporting characters were mind numbingly one dimensional. Either the were a cartoon supervillain (both women’s mothers) or their only personality trait was loving the protagonist (Margot and Darcey's brother).
Even though I found this cute at times, the issues made it just not worth it to me. 2.5 stars.

This book was everything and more, I knew I would love this book and Elle from the first page, and I was sure right. Elle is every girls dream best friend always there for you and don’t even get me started on how fun of a person she is, always putting a smile on peoples faces, she’s the definition of sunshine. Now through the book you get to see her fall in love with this girl named Darcy, Darcy is the opposite of her but that mostly why they work so good together. These characters had so much depth to them that it made me love them even more. Their love is like nothing I have ever read about how strongly they feel for each, is just so beautiful. And this book has one of my fav tropes fake dating!!!

Ok. I was let down in multiple ways by this book but I will just focus on this one: so the main characters' names are Darcy and Elle (as in, Elizabeth). Ok sure, well that’s a Pride & Prejudice nod, which I guess I can understand because the Darcy character, she is a grumpy actuary and the Elle character, she is a non-grumpy astrologist. So then the Elle character has a sister named Jane (of course!) and a sister named Lydia (duh!) … and then a brother named Daniel. Daniel!!! Then, the Darcy character also has a sibling. But get this! Instead of a sister, she has a brother. You might be like, oh of course, he could be called George! But no, he is called Brendon. And he sucks.
