Love it. Not as many lesbian romance books out there and I love when I find one that flows so well. Can't wait to read more by the author.
I enjoyed this book. A lot of lip and cheek biting… got kind of old. I also didn’t like that Darcy’s mom was just called “mom”, not even “her mom”. But it was a cute little romcom of a book.

It's like a christmas rom-com but make it gay - seeing as it is essentially a genderbent Pride and Prejudice fanfiction, it's not really surprising. It was a good kind of sappy, even making me laugh a few times. The characters were well-rounded, if neither entirely relatable. Worth a read if you've got a day to spare and love the genre. A solid 4.5 out of 5.
Funny and steamy, a fun ride of a lesbian romance. I wish the word choice and imagery was a little less repetitive, but overall I really enjoyed the story.

"Elle laughed and Darcy's chest ached as if something inside her was stretching, making space. Growing pains."
This is a fun, charming romance with a great mix of classic romcom-ness (I loved the nods to Bridget Jones <3) and emotional depth.
I enjoyed both main characters and the way their relationship developed, but I think what stopped me from loving this more was the fact that I just didn't feel overly connected to them or to what was happening - the writing style is very millennial which I think is why I didn't quite click with it.
I did really like some of the side characters though and appreciated the friendships and family relationships that were explored in addition to the romance, and it was still an enjoyable and heartwarming read overall. A fun time - just not one that will hugely stay with me I don't think.
