One story I found unreadable but the others are all of exceptional quality and deserving of the swathe of awards they've been shortlisted for. Wonderful stories by some of Australia's best writers.

Most of the stories in this collection were pretty bad, either silly plots, or just not well-written. But I bought the book for Juliet Marillier's story "Beautiful", and she never lets me down.
