Fun romance mixed with becoming confident in who you are and the struggle of being female and interested in STEM.

This book was alright. I did find myself caring more about the friendship arc of Bel and Neelam than the romance between Bel and Teo. That's not necessarily bad, but to not care much about the romance in a romance book isn't great. So overall this book wasn't bad, I just personally didn't care much for it.

man how did they go from regionals straight to nationals... i wish that was how things worked

1) MCR reference? Love
2) Kdacht da het gwn een cute romcom ging zijn, ma het was eig heel erg saai en langdradig soms
3) de karakters zijn... heel stereotiep, maar het wordt op een manier gebracht om dat niet zo te dn lijken

Bel is hands down the best FMC I've ever seen. I read this book for the Taylor Swift references, and they didn't disappoint (although- Shake It Off? She could have mentioned ANY other song). I loved hearing about all the side characters too- can Jamie have her own book? My only critique is that I felt it was 50 pages too long, the last few chapters felt boring and unnecessary. Would definitely recommend, and reread.

so dang cute!!!!

This was cute! I enjoyed reading it, but at the same time the story feels kind of forgettable. I wish Teo's mental health had been explored more, especially with how much responsibility he feels for everyone around him and with all the pressure he faces from his family. I liked the ending tho, felt very fitting!
