silly and fun and so very outdated. it's amazing to see what parts of the character and lore have stuck for 80+ years and it's even more enjoyable to see what parts have been retconned

I haven't read any of the old Batman. They are pretty funny. Batman just sort of runs around neighborhoods. Also, he seems to constantly put Robin in incredibly dangerous situations. I really liked this quote: "The Batman, having lost his way on a lonely by-road, stops before a lone house to ask directions."
