I thought this book was vile. I picked it up based on a podcaster recommendation. I though it might be similar to You Could Make This Place Beautiful. While Maggie Smoth in that book had some justified anger that came out sideways at time, this author had loads of overt misogynistic  rage. When he referred to his wife as insane (because she could imagine living without him) and then joked if she offed herself in a car that would be viable and not the worst ending to their marriage…I was done. The promotional pics of the two of them holding the book are nauseating. Yuck!
