way too accurate to the situation now, despite being published a decade ago. they‘re already using the strongest words imaginable to describe and condemn israel‘s actions - not knowing that it would indeed worsen by a lot. structure of contents was a bit strange but an informative and necessary read regardless.

As I wrote in my review of "The Case for Israel", the difference between pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian authors seems quite large! Writers supporting both sides will sometimes discuss the same events, eg. some terror event, war, or large conference such as the Oslo Accords. Both have what seems like well-researched and reasonable interpretations of the events, but what is actually discussed is nearly completely disparate, both the actual event as well as who was in the wrong, who did what, and what takeaways you should take.
One example is talking about acts of terrorism.

This was an insightful and nuanced look into the Palestinian conflict. I very much admire Chomsky and Pappé’s activism and their holistic approach to this discussion. Keeping people informed on contemporary issues like this is extremely important, and On Palestine does that very well.
