I can see why Terry Pratchett is held in such a high regard now. The way he describes things is so evocative, and the manner in which he writes his dialogue is so full of life.

That said, I did find certain parts of this book a bit meandering. I wish Coin had been given more attention. I think he could have been fantastic as a character if the way things shook out felt earned (they didn't for me, not for Coin. Rincewind and the Luggage were great; I wish Coin had been given the same... care? I guess?)
