I put off reading this book for so long and I wish I hadn't. For some reason, I thought it was about something completely different. It was a really good read and I finished it in just a few days (which is fast for me). I really enjoyed and related to Alaska and the other characters.

Really enjoyed this read! It was a nostalgic book for me as well. You will feel a whole range of emotions! The accents in the dialogue were a little annoying at times though

The first time I tried to read this I was in highschool and I couldn't stand Alaska, because she reminded me so much of people I knew. 

I picked it up again this year, 6 years later and I felt more empathy for all the characters and for myself and my friends in highschool. 

It was a great and terrible time and how I wish I could go back sometimes.
