John Green will always impress me with how much the meanings behind his characters and their words have on me. However, that does not mean his characters are my favorite; Pudge drove me crazy with his self-absorbed obsession with Alaska and I personally believe that Alaska herself was more mentally unstable than just being a bitch. I saw a lot of symptoms and actions seen in people with Borderline Personality Disorder in her--something that I personally have been diagnosed with and therefore could relate and somewhat understand what and why she did things. Of course, all the characters had some good and some flaws in them, making them real and whole.
