Another cute installment in this quiet yet adorable manga series!

In this volume, the relationship between Suiren and Kawasumi has picked up once they realize they have mutual feelings for each other. They are however extremely shy as they don’t know how to proceed with their relationship and “dating.” The manga like usual, depicts their feelings through their expressions and thoughts. Although both main characters are shy and quiet, it’s evident how much thought and effort they’re putting into this newfound relationship.

We also get a lot of support from our side characters and they are slowly showing their feelings. The manga hadn’t done justice to the side characters in the previous volumes but this installment has them a little more involved making them connectable. And wait, there is someone new who is introduced but there’s no story space? Well, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of this character in future volumes since characters are not introduced if they don’t have anything to add to the story.

Overall, this was another easy read given there are less words and more beautiful yet expressive artwork. I enjoy that the slow setting ship is finally sailing however I am curious on the new side character. I’m not a fan of clueless love triangles so I hope it doesn’t become that. Also, getting to know Suiren’s and Kawasumi’s friends made the story feel more alive and I liked how we still got to revisit the characters from volume one.
