Each book in this series gets better and better. Full of action and fast paced. I never figured any of it out either. We learn more about characters as the books progress.

A fantastic read, gripping, full of twists and turns, full on page turning stuff, read in two sittings, which is good for me! Characters worked well together and I enjoyed the storyline. Believe its the first time I have read this author as don't remember these detectives but will be reading more from the series
