The prequel to The Last Mrs.Parrish! Short little read but If you thought you hated Amber as a character in the book the prequel she is even more delusional & insane. Liv Constantine definitely makes you feel rage and hate towards Amber & I was slightly shocked!

Must read if you read The Last Mrs Parrish!!

"The First Shot" by Liv Constantine is a prequel to "The Last Mrs. Parrish." I'm in a fun reading slump and I thought that reading a novella might help pull me out of it. However, I wonder if I should have started with book one before reading this prequel. Oh well.
This was a fast-paced novella where we got to know the origins of Amber and some of her backstory. I'm now interested in reading The Last Mrs. Parrish, so that is something

This is a quick short read that introduces you to the life of Amber Patterson. Amber moves to Gunnison to have more opportunities and begins working as a waitress. She begins to develop a connection with one of her customers and it blossoms from there. I enjoyed seeing where the story went from start to finish. I would recommended checking out this book if you want to get to know who Amber is. Next up I can't wait to see more of Amber's story in The Last Mrs. Parrish.

A super short prequel to the last Mrs. Parrish. Very quick read, but I enjoyed getting to read a little more about amber. Very rushed as it’s a novella that takes place over several months, but I felt like I got enough information for what the story was. Not a must read but enjoyable if you’re a big the last mrs. Parrish/liv Constantine fan.
