I am still not entirely sure what this book was actually about, but it kept me interested and I enjoyed it…up until the ending, although I don’t know what I wanted from the ending. Worst review I’ve ever written because I just don’t know how I feel haha! It’s almost like a never read it - it was a bit nothing-y but the style of writing and the interesting characters made sure it didn’t feel laborious to read.

The plot and the characters were meh not horrible but not great they were good. What made me enjoy this book so much was the way they spoke about books, readers and reading and the concepts of life and death in quite a beautiful way. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has a strong connection to books and the value they hold inside of them.

"Cómo viven, las personas a las que llegan, todo libro es un retrato y tiene al menos dos caras. —Dos…—Sí. La cara del, de la, en su caso, que lo da. La cara de la que o del que lo recibe."

Wanted to love it, but something about the story never fully took off for me. I loved the concept of the mobile book shop at the end, and it left me wondering why the story didn’t revolve more around that. So much potential there.
