I didn't enjoy this one, it doesn't give emotional satisfaction but leaves the feathers ruffled. It was more 'A Christmas Carol' then 'Cinderella' in my opinion. And the H changed his attitude to his children and christmas just as suddenly as Scrooge. Only here the ghost of christmas past was the h. Both mc's managed to irritate me, and right now I can't be bothered to list what else I found wrong with it.

I’m a sucker for Christmas romances. And this one made me happy.
It had everything;
The sad, lonely, but adorable children.
The cold, obnoxious H who the h has adored forever.
The beautiful castle in Italy.
The supposed other woman.
Unrequited love.
Secrets kept for years that caused so much hurt.
I loved it! I especially LOVED the proposals. Especially the final one. This was a winner for me.

This was fine. It didn't do anything wrong, but it didn't stand out either. Still a fun Christmas read.
