oof. this book has a white savior love interest, cringe dialogue, no chemistry, villainization of religion, and an incomplete/unsatisfying ending. but hey, at least the anxiety rep is good.

It was a beautifully written book, despite some not very realistic quotes from Ace.

It’s a grumpy meets sunshine, fake dating, cheesy as hell, beautiful rom-com - what more could I ask for?
I loved this so much <3

This book was really good representation wise. Seeing a main character with anxiety like Karina was really relatable to me because I’ve never read a book with a character who I’ve related to more in that sense.

The plot was a little lacking and I found myself thinking “yeah ok sure…” at some points, but I think that’s how it is with most YA rom com style books.

Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend this book if you’re not a big fan of fluff, but it was definitely cute and felt refreshing as a lot of the characters faced problems I think most high schoolers face today.
