this book sucked me in right away. great way to tell a story, kudos to the author since i love switching perspectives, makes the story extremely interesting! the content can be too heavy for some, too bloody and violent, but i lowkey like it because this was i really needed at the time: something which reminds me of an alternative reality.

I read the book while listening to the audiobook and it made the book ten times better
I had so much fun listening to the audiobook, the whole cast that narrated the story did such and amazing job being this book to life and really liked the concept and the story
I absolutely love West, i love seeing him connect the dots and understanding what happened to Sadie
While also seeing what was going on during Sadie’s chapters
I just absolutely love how the story was structured it was extremely engaging
Just an overall amazing book

Wow just wow. The anger I felt while reading this, but a phenomenal book.
Amazing…
This is not my genre at all and I was blown away by this story.
I couldn’t turn it off I was up way, way too late and the first thing I did when I got up was put it back on.
This has been recommended to me by a few people and for whatever reason, I kept putting it off I am so glad I gave it a chance.
It had me on the edge of my seat, it had me thinking, guessing and even in tears.
The mystery aspect and how it unfolds really just sucked me in.
That ending…. Hot diggity it really left me with so many more questions and if that was the author’s goal she achieved it.
I am a romance girl at heart so this full cast had me thrown for a little bit but once I got into it I couldn’t imagine it not being told in this way. It was fantastic.

Some parts of this book were fantastic and others... not as much. I had heard nothing but "listen to this on audio" from every reviewer and as I LOVE listening to audio books I gave this a try. It was... decent. I feel like the people who find it to be the best audiobook ever might not have heard too too many great audio books. The main voice actors were good, but some of the side parts sounded... rough... The woman reading Sadie sounded mad all the time. No matter what her default voice was low and pissed, which is fine until the character needs to have a not angry emotion.
I liked the podcast aspect, though I am not used to such high budget production from podcasts LOL. All I listen to are podcasts by like three friends in a bedroom, so I was a little alienated by the style of podcast, but that's a me thing.
I wish the podcast side had been bigger. The majority of this book was Sadie doing her thing, and while I was mostly into her story and all its twists and drama, ultimately I didn't like her voice and the writing style of her sections. Some attempts to be "flowery" just ended up making me go "wut?" A line that will never leave my brain is 'his legs went all the way to his torso'. Like.... what does that even mean? How did that word salad get past the editor?
Now I just really want a version of this that was just a podcast person investigating a missing girl. I'd read/listen to that oh boy!
I would still recommend this book if you are a fan of true crime, revenge stories and somewhat realistic feeling teenage girls (with all that that entails). I too recommend the audio version.
Look out for a review on my channel coming soon.

My heart hurts and my brain is reeling from trying to process everything I just listened too. The audio-book is phenomenal and made for such a visceral listening experience. Will be back with a more formal review asap!

AMAZING full cast audio production!! I was completely enthralled. Highly recommend!
The audio of this was amazing, it was really like listening to a true crime podcast. I started this book and could not stop listening until it was done.
If you’re interested in this book please read it on audiobook, it will not disappoint. This story is raw, dark and captivating, and even though I liked it a lot, I felt like I wanted a more conclusive ending for it to be a 5-star read for me.
