I really enjoyed this book. I love how the story was told and even though it didn’t end the way I wanted, it was a great read!
i don’t think i’ll ever go a day without thinking abt sadie
I loved this story! I listened to it on audible and it was like I was listening to a radio show. Although a heavy story, I blew off all responsibility to lie in bed and listen.
Solid mystery. Not sure how much the podcast pov adds but kinda fun nonetheless.
5/5 stars!
I haven't read (well I listened to Sadie, because it is an amazing audiobook) a book this effortlessly wonderful in awhile. I'm really glad my friends bullied me into reading this, because I wouldn't normally pick something like this up. Sadie was shocking, heartbreaking, and written in such an interesting way. The podcast was one of the coolest ways I've seen a narrative told in a long time. I was always on the edge of my seat to see where this was going. It wasn't the type of book where it mattered who the characters were, if I liked them or not, it was just a story and it was fascinating. The ending was great! All I could do was just stare at the wall and listen. I usually am critical of these kind of endings, but I think Sadie did it just right and it ended up being the best part of the book for me. If you are thinking of reading this book, I totally recommend the audiobook, but I also recommend looking up some of the warnings for the content. This story is not for everyone, but it was wonderfully done.

I’ve had this book for about 2 years and idk why I’ve slept on it bc I love Courtney summers’ writing so much. This book was no different HOWEVER it has one of those endings that DOESNT FUCKING TELL YOU HOW IT ENDS!!!!! Ughhh.
After all that it’s just like ..seriously?! I really wish I knew what happened but it could be interpreted in two ways and sadly the one I think it’s the saddest.
Very cool take on switching back and forth between Sadie’s POV and a podcast retracing her steps about a year later trying to find out what happened to her as she is missing.

This book was such a good read it made me look forward to a train ride, which is saying something in NYC 2018.
Train delay? No problem, I'll just read another 20 pages. Oh another train delay? 40 pages it is.

I don't know I have a mixed feelings about this book , it's pretty average in my opinion plus I didn't like the writing style and the ending .
If you like true crime podcasts, this work of fiction is good. Should definitely listen as an audiobook verses reading a physical book.
