The imagery of the terrarium was really lovely and informed my whole association with the book. Think green leaves, humidity, confinement and pressure through a physicalised connection are all connotations I carry from the story. I reflected a lot on the relationships in my life: firstly, parental, secondly, sibling, then additionally the relationships I have with myself, nature and friends.

This was gripping and extremely cleverly put together. Each chapter was told from a different character's perspective, so it was as though each of the chapters was left on a mini cliffhanger while the story went through each of the characters in turn. This left me wanting to keep reading, to devour all of the different angles of the story. It was excellent storytelling that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish!

Bought for me by hubby for valentine's Day and what a treat. Brilliant drama with twists and turn right until the end.
