This book is really cute. It had me thinking about ketchup for the LONGEST time. Claire is--a girl of a family who is French. But goes far out of their way to act "french". Claire sees visions, but it isn't until she receives a cameo necklace from her grandmother do the visions mean anything.
In the midst of this, Claire is transferring to *gasp* pubic school. She meets Becca, a best friend with a secret. She's the daughter of Ketchup Mogul. Essentially, Becca is the Ketchup Princess. Regardless. Someone close to Becca and her family is helping their wos enemy, blah-blah-blah.
Claire finds out-- and from the details at the end of the book, she gets the guy.
It's cute. It's quick. Great read concerning New York City--makes me want to visit again!
