An important text regarding how some Roman’s thought of the world and dealt with philosophical problems. Some aspects we know are wrong now, but many parts are still relevant and it’s always interesting looking back to see how people thought in history

Marcus Aurelius journal inspired me to continue to be a better human and it’s heartwarming to see that a Emperor like him considers himself a philosopher first and a emperor second. There’s a lot of things that Marcus’s journal resonates with me particularly about getting up from bed and also the bees and the beehive quotes. It’s truly inspiring and insightful read and I was intimidated to read this book but I’m glad that I did.
