I finally got around to reading another one of the moomin books and I loved it so much! I completely forgot that this is the part where Snufkin accidentally adopts a ton of children and I loveed that part of the story so much,
The characters are good too - though I was surprised to see Misebel in this book - the story is really similar to what I remember from cartoon and it's short, but it's still full of action and things happening- it's never boring.

More strange than whimsical. Not my favorite but still a classic. Standard Moomin logic.

This was my very first Moomin book, and it was quite alright and enjoyable. I think I may have expected a bit too much, but I just love the moomins. And Snufkin was absolutely adorable, he's always been my favorite. I will definitely be reading/listening to the others!

A flood disrupts life in Moominvalley, but brings along an intriguing new home for them -- which turns out to be a theatre. Of course they have to put on a show, which does not turn out as planned but is enjoyed by everybody anyway. A pleasant little diversion.
