It felt like there wasn't much of a story in this one, very much an interlude between two actual story arcs. Pretty meh overall

More Derby and drama! This edition felt less tight as a story, with a few dropped plot lines, and character jumps. When did Grandma start leaving the house?
That all being said, I would definitely read the next edition if we ever get one.

Cute but it could've been part of volume one, and wouldn't have made much of a difference to the storyline. I love these characters and reading anything Roller Derby, so it's okay.

I didn’t leave a review on the first volume but I feel pretty much the same about both the first and the second, so that’s why I’m choosing to leave a review here. I honestly really was hoping I’d like this series seeing as it has a lot of the stuff I tend to enjoy (women being badass, sapphics, cute art etc etc) but I really didn’t vibe with it! It wasn’t bad necessarily, but it kinda just felt very meh. Nothing really stood out to me in either volume and the plot felt very very underwhelming a lot of the time. A little disappointed in all honesty but at least I gave it a shot.

2.5 stars. different artist this volume - didn't like the change. Didn't feel like much happened; story/characters were even more underdeveloped than the first volume. Disappointed because there seemed to be potential here and it doesn't look like there are any more volumes to come in the future.

Why does this comic always make me want to run out and join roller derby?
