I'm no longer interested in this series because I have left it so long since I rest read the first book I also know it is heavily traumatic and I'm not prepared for that nor do I want that mentally at the moment

Wow this book was insane from start to finish. I loved how the story progressed since the poppy war. I was at the edge of my seat the entire time i read this book.

While i hold ‘The poppy war’ as the best book so far in this series the second one isn’t far behind tho im sad that most of the Cike are dead (i genuinely cried for them).

RF Kuang you are my new favorite book author 🫂

I DON’T KNOW HOW RF KUANG DELIVERS EVERY TIME!! This book was amazing, and the story building/plot is unbelievable good. There were so many new characters, and this world has truly manifested into such a complex and real world. I love how morally gray Rin is; it brings so much depth to the characters and book. One moment I would be laughing at Kitay and Nezha’s pesky banter and remarks to hurting at plot twists and betrayals. I truly love the Poppy War world so much because R.F. Kuang has crafted a literary masterpiece of layered characters and jaw dropping plot lines.
