Tangled is one of my fav movies, but this story I didn't like. The fact Liz put an extra character in the story that wasn't needed. I also found it sad that when flynn enterd the tower the only time she didn't hit im with a frying pan.

A random guard gets turned into a horse. LIKE HUHHH I miss the whole fight and stuff that happend in the movie. Not this.

As with the rest of the Twisted Tale series, What Once Was Mine perfectly combines elements of the Disney story, plus exciting plot twists. The connection to the modern part of the story was a bit tedious and unnecessary. However, the Rapunzel story itself was fresh and interesting.

Spoiler Free:
This book was a part of the “A Twisted Tale” series. I have read other books from this series and think that this was pretty good. It took me a little bit to get through this book. Not because it was slow but because I had a lot to do. I actually think that this book was very fast paced. Not in a bad way but in a good way. There was always some action going on or you were learning something new. I do think that the ending fell a little short. I feel like there was a lot of talk about what was most likely going to happen (I don’t want to give any spoilers). Though then you get like 4 pages of it. I did like the 2 story lines though. I think that the brother and sister dynamic was super fun. Especially since I am an older sister. Though I think that it would have been nice to see what happened to the sister. I would like to think that she recovered but I will never know for sure. Overall this was a good read!
