This is a very fast, light read. A lot of explaining, a lot of thinking, not much else. The main character goes on and on about her past, repeating herself, sometimes contradicting herself. Then it ends.

It started out strong but soon lost steam. There is a lot of repetition and focus on tangents, the characters are paper thin and the motivation behind the murder is ridiculous. The women fawning remind me of The Hollow (Hercule Poirot), although the man in this one is faithful and good-natured.
It's short with a catchy title, that's all it has going for it. I won't be picking up the next installment.

This book was okay read. this book well paced and the writing was easy to read also I found parts funny. the characters were okay but they needed be flash out more. overall this book was a light and funny read but it was bit flat.
I wouldn't go so far as to call it hilarious like the promotional tagline but it was a fun cosy crime and I would read more in the series. Fairly short too if you are looking for a quick read.
