I loved characters, they were hilarious but there were also some thoughts about childrens' and parents' relationships. This tasted like a life :) This was really cozy and pleasurable read, just perfect for me after a rough week. I had so much fun with this story!

Go Grandma
2-3 stars. This was fast and fluffy/silly. I enjoyed that the main character was a confident, bored granny, rather than younger woman worrying about her weight or romance. I’ll probably listen to more of the audiobooks of this series when I need something light running in the background.
I usually like cozy mysteries and the ones that involve old ladies solving crimes are always fun. Usually they are not the main hero but rather the sidekick but here we have a former CIA-agent now nanny solving a murder in her reading group. The granny is fund and obviously a bad ass so I had fun reading the book. But to be honest, the connections she made were a bit too far-fetched for them to be believable, even though for her it lead to the solving the crime. But hey, let's not have that spoil the fun.

Granny has some skills! It was fun reading about a 70 year old grandma that could kick butt and solve the mystery. I did get annoyed about how many times it mentioned her being ex-CIA. But the story was fun and her relationship with her grandson was cute.
