Holy-amaze balls! So to recap book one first because this is part two and not a standalone. In part one the four guys claim Lo, and she plans on taking down the Sainthood. I’ll admit that I had to work to like book one, mainly I think because my mind can’t grasp kids like this. In part two high school seems to take a back seat and the chains just seem to come off.
What did I like? The book seems to really take off in part two but there is a dynamic between the four guys and Lo that really didn’t catch fire in book one. In this book though it seems to really ignite. Some really nasty sides of the Sainthood come out, and all the side hustles seem to really pull together in book two. The big thing that stands out in part two is that these five act like they are indestructible, and that cliffhanger is crazy.
Would I buy or recommend? The only thing I have a hard time with is that this book portrays a high school group of kids but this book is not for high school kids. If you like high school bully romance, this is like a bully romance on crack. Not a YA book whatsoever. This is the first kind of series that I have read, so not much to compare to. If you’ve read book one, then book two will blow your mind. I just have a feeling though....book three... the gloves will finally come off.
Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new release! What a unique series. It’s unlike anything I have ever read. Four guys...one girl... but it just works for them. First book was great, book two amazing, .....book three? You have your work cut out for you to top what I’ve already read...Can’t wait!

With Rebellion, Siobhan Davis puts down a strong second part of a High School Dark Reverse Harem. I’m immediately drawn back into the story and it stays with me at the end. The story is completely told in the first person from Harlow. In this part you also occasionally read from the minds of the boys. This gives a nice extra dimension. It is all written very expressively.
Rebellion builds further where part one stopped and you really can’t read it without reading Resurrection.
Harlow wants to solve her father’s murder at all costs and destroy the Sainthood. This is her only goal. Now that Galen has betrayed her, she has great difficulty in trusting the boys again. Especially Galen. But she needs them to move forward.
Now that Sinner has made her the first female initiate, she has to go through a series of tests that seem impossible. Harlow is determined to get through it.
The story is written in such a way that you are completely drawn back into the world of The Sainthood. I was very happy that I could read right away because it really continues from where part one ended. Because I was still completely in it, it stayed that way.
Rebellion is super exciting and I found it very difficult to put it down. I’m therefore very enthusiastic about this series. It dangles on the edge for 5 stars. I am very fond of Siobhan’s writing style and this very well thought out story. There is a very good plot with some good twists. Delicious.
Oh… and Gods… that fucked up ending…

This book picks up where book one leaves off, and damn if it didn’t keep me hooked!
Harlow finds herself in a sticky situation because of Galean, when he decides to go rogue a little bit. Saint, Theo & Caz go ballistic over the situation.
Harlow returns and things are shaken up. Who can she trust? Can they forgive and move forward together to fight the bigger enemy???
The story doesn’t lag and keeps a good steady pace. There is a lot of spice!! Great story line too

So, I was impatiently waiting for this book. It does NOT disappoint. I wondered how we were gonna get Lo back.
We find Lo in a battle for her life. Can I just say Darrow is so dumb... lol We find out a lot of information in this book. Back stories and information that we all wanted to know.
It was shocking to find out who Diesal was. It cleared up some questions I had about him. He was still fixated on Lo’s safety. She will never stand down. I love that about her.
So, Galen I want to love him, and even though he messed up. I think once the story ends he will probably be my favorite. I’m a sucker for a broken character, but when he finally tells her the why he acted that way, I was crying. I think we all needed to know what was up, but man it tore my heart out.
The more we find out of Sinner the more I want him gone. The ending of this one though... I was shocked. So, now we wait. I can’t wait to see what happens now.

Book 2 of 3.5 (.5 is a short novella after book 3)
Check your trigger warnings! I’ve read some darker stuff but there were parts in this book that were tough.
Polyamorous relationship, mafia, dark romance (very spicy)
Still hooked on the story. Continues the drama.
