Delightful little novella
Charming story, told with a refreshingly wry and witty voice. Jade Yeo is an aspiring author in 1920's England who is thrown into the orbit of a rather caddish but well established author. I don't want to give away to much of the plot, furthermore the main attraction is the characters unique voice. Plus, I have highlighted almost every second line.

IT WAS SO SHORT. Too short. Really cute, though, loved the voice. If it had been more fleshed out/less jumpy, it would be five stars.

I LOVED this. It is so relentlessly good-natured, and Jade & Ravi are so charming, and contains so many sections on food and books and writing that I think it's all I want from an epistolatory romance novella. It has, of all unlikely things, made me miss London.

You can definitely had novellas that tell complete and fulfilling stories, but I didn't feel like this novella did that. It was so short and I left feeling unsatisfied when I finished, which is a shame because I really liked Jade and wanted more of her.
The diary format was a strange choice since there are portions of nothing but dialogue. Who has a diary where they write down long conversations verbatim? And I found the blurb super misleading. It makes it sound like a genre Romance, which it really isn't.
