To be honest when I was in the moment, reading this book, it had me in tears. However, when I woke up the next day I realised something. I wasn't satisfied with this ending. In my opinion it was too positive. Everything worked out too nicely. So I can only give this book a 4 star.
Though I did throughly enjoy this series.

I liked it, I just couldn't bring myself to really read it and enjoy it. I skimmed the last 100 pages. I think it i because I can't believe it is all over. Overall I'm pretty satisified with the the end.
Really happy with this series. It’s super hard to wrap a book series up and I actually am more satisfied with this ending than with the Hunger Games one. Granted one of my favorites died and it wasn’t as action packed as Never Fade I’m left with admonition. I really liked this world and following Ruby and the squad. There are so many Aww moments and many Oh shit moments. It really gives you a lot.
I could have finished this book like 3 weeks ago... I was missing like 2 pages...
I don't know how I feel about this being the end. I mean it was expected to end like this right? Throughout the series I can see a clear character development on Ruby, how she ended up being so different from the first 10 year old kid we get to meet at the start of the first book. I find funny that I did like this insta love and how I didn't groan with all the romantic drama that happened and their incessant smooching and cheesiness haha
I find interesting the strong political views of the author on the story. I don't know if that was the intention but there is clearly a criticism against the government and their inability of taking care of the problems, how they reject the others and the incessant complex of superior and ego. I think the other couple that happen was so obvious and expected that I didn't even reacted when it all happened, and I couldn't care less about them.
I love Vida as a support character that had so much life and fire in her. Liam's naiveness and his insubordination was a bit annoying. Chubs was irrelevant in this book, Zu was such a smart and sweet character that also changed along the other characters. It took me a while bit to finally get to them but they were a nice read.

I liked the ending of the story. It provides closure, which is usually a good thing. The pace of the book was a bit sporadic, with slow redundant sections, and then sections where you are wondering how so much plot could be crammed into a small portion of the book. Overall it was good, and I am glad I read the series.
Honestly, the first like half of the book wasn’t the greatest but the ending made me feel so sad yet so happy. There wasn’t anything special about the end, just seeing these friends all be together, being able to finally be free, be happy, and be with their family just struck something in me. All of the loss in this book, all of the forgiveness, the pain and regret, I feel like that all culminated well at the end. Where our main characters ended up where they started, both having gained and lost so much. I’m surprised at how I’m feeling right now, I didn’t think I was too attached to these characters but having finished the trilogy and now reflecting on it, I loved them.
