was devastated when cole died, I was really rooting for him and ruby, or for him in general. the way she just killed him off and he never got the respect and honor he deserved is utterly disappointing. if she needed to end him, he deserved a much better and bigger ending.
also the way ruby and liam just get back happily together, i don't like it, it feels wrong... but otherwise still a good series tho

I don't know why, but I didn't like this book and this series so much. I gave the first book 3 stars, the second one 3.5 stars and the third one aka this one 2. Even though I really like the premise and the storyline, I just wasn't hooked. It took me again way too long to read it and when I put it down I wasn't thinking about it. Maybe it's because I'm done with YA dystopian (I have nothing against YA in general, but I think it's because I've read too many dystopians already and because I've also already read some classic dystopians), because I like more culture stories and this series hasn't much culture in it.. I don't know. I'm a bit sad about the fact that I didn't like this series as much, but I know many people do so if you want to pick up this series, don't let this review hold you back. It's not bad at all, just not my cup of tea anymore.

So The Darkest Minds trilogy has come to an end, and this book is a very satisfying, gripping, heartbreaking, sad finale. Before i start rambling about i want to say i really loved this trilogy and i am super excited to read any other books by Alexandra Bracken.. i'm just really sad it ended.
Anyway i really liked the end of the book and how everything was placed together it was a satisfying ending to an incredible,well structured, fast paced, complicated and complex yet interesting and amazing story. I just love how every single piece fit right into place in the end except for one person who i won't name due to spoilers. Ruby, Chubs, Liam, Vida, Zu i love them so much and they are just so amazing... but my favourites are definitely Cole(marry me please) and Jude and i will forever love them they are just so perfect. And Clancy i just loved to hate him so much such a well structured yet completely crazy character. I will miss every single piece in this trilogy. i enjoyed the ride.

I can't f***ing believe they killed my fave in this book again. i don't know if its bad luck but this just keeps happening..my baby Jude died and then my Cole died WHY WHY would you do this to me!!! WHY.???.

There were so many tears, but this was one of the best ends to a series ever.
4,5 i think. the end man, idk. felt kind of rushed perhaps. however the story is amazing ugh I just wanna thank this author for creating a character like Ruby UGH SO PERFECTLY IMPERFECT. Loved this series.
