Beautiful historical fiction, very like a still life. A picture of its moments.
Still thinking about it and the lives of the characters two days after finishing and wistfully wishing to go back and be with them a little more.

Mamma Mia.

Weinig "sheer joy" als je het mij vraagt Graham Norton. De setting is enig gekunsteld maar het verhaal duurt en duurt.. Geen duidelijk plot. Een opgave om het uit te lezen.
