"Poor Lauren," Catherine said into her chest, her words dripping with promise, "suffering so much." Her head dipped lower...

It's not often I feel compelled to give a novella a full five stars but this was just too darn delightful. Lauren and Catherine indulge themselves while seeing each other for the first time in two weeks and it's hot. Catherine especially, gosh. But actually, it was just as cute as it was hot. I've noticed Catherine tends to communicate her love through frequent and firm, loving hugs - just reading it made me melt.

She felt the loss of Catherine's fingers and, with great reluctance, slid her own out from beneath Catherine's dress. They straightened their own outfits a little sheepishly. Then Catherine pressed herself gently back into Lauren, arms wrapping around her, holding her. Tight.

Isn't Catherine just so...🥺💘. Though...I do think we need to talk about that sex scene because they were at it against a pillar underneath the moonlight with a hand in each other's dress - let's be honest, it's hard for it to be more romantic than that.

"Please," she whispered again, not even bothering to hide her wantonness. "Please touch me. God, I've missed you."
Catherine rubbed Lauren's cleft, outlined against her sodden lingerie, and groaned in approval against her neck. "Good," she said softly. "I'd hate to be the only one."

Please, she's such a softie 💘💞💓

Strap on your roller skates and pass the radiator fluid. Flashbang is a short, sweet, and sexy extension of [b:The Red Files|26310763|The Red Files|Lee Winter|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1441936901s/26310763.jpg|46176358].

I read it before but now I read the red files. This should actually have been put in The Red Files before the epilogue because that is where that would be the right timeline.
