Completely stunning. This might sound like an exaggeration, but I never realized how deeply an author could develop his characters until I read this. The prose is gorgeous and sumptuous and completely effortless. This was a moody, pensive, brief, and deeply emotional read for me. A descriptive jewel of a novel. I highly recommend this short novel.
