Had to read this for a book club at work - a good how to guide on how to be a great product manager but only if you’re operating in essentially perfect conditions. Will probably go back to this in various times of my career but wish it had a little more information about when conditions aren’t ideal, such as not being able to have the right staff for a product team, what then?

Nice introduction to the role of Project Managers, how to structure teams, and how to build good products. The book is divided in small independent chapters making it easy to read.

Easily the best book on Product Management I've ever read. Extremely clear and actionable steps to set up a team to build innovative tech products.

This is the holy book for product management. So informative. After reading this and taking extensive notes, I feel so much more confident in my understanding of what GOOD product management is.

Only downside is it's pretty repetitive. But it really reinforces the takeaways.

This book is really, really useful. I would really call this a design book. Designers should really have this book handy. Marty explains in detail how a product organization should work to accomplish success in their business - and the processes and techniques are something that I am no stranger to, but I wished he would go a bit more in detail to the discovery techniques - something UX designers have been doing for a long time also.
