This book was unique in its writing and having sheep as the detectives trying to solve the murder of their shepherd.   It held my interest because it was written in a way that flowed easily from humans talking to the sheep “talking” and it was intriguing.   It got a little slow and drawn out in the middle for a bit and at the end for a bit, but it wasn’t too bad.  Maybe I was just tired when I was reading late at night.  Either way, it was a uniquely written book and I’ll be sharing it with my friends.

This is one of my favorite new books. A flock of very smart sheep discover that their shepherd has been murdered. Together they set out to find justice for George. They investigate the murder and win your heart too in this lovely little mystery. My favorite sheep is Othello, a big black ram with four horns! If I could be a sheep I would be Othello. This was such a wonderful and whimsical read. I highly recommend it! And it looks like this is the first in a series so I will definitely have to get the others so I can spend more time with Othello... Read it. You won't be disappointed.

I just don't know what to say about this book. Is it satire? Is it meant to be serious? Am I missing something, because I just didn't get it.

105 pages in and I had to quit. I was excited to read this, but I just got bored. I can see where some people would really like this. I think I might like it if I were in a different mindset. Right now I seem to be more of a thriller girl. It's probably me, not the book.
