This was a fabulous third instalment in the amazing new series from Gina LaManna. Detective Kate Rosetti is a fabulous fun and feisty character that is attempting to find her feminine side, start dating and continue to solve crime. This is a much more emotionally charged book, with romantic angst and daddy issues, but is still a wonderful gripping detective adventure.

Loving this new series... keep them coming please!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

This was another good book in the series, and some of the comments made me think that the heroine knows she picked the wrong guy, or that could be wishful thinking on my part. Other than that, this story was intense, and brings in some additional characters to the crew as well. I'm so looking forward to more.

This is the third book so far in the series and while I enjoy most of the characters and the easy read I’m already sick to death of Kate. I was happy Jimmy said something in this book about being a cop longer than she’s been alive. Kate should never have been allowed on this case at all. Also, this is the second book in a row Kate was so concerned about herself that she missed obvious clues. Finally, I personally think the use of a billionaire that’s able to help when she hits a roadblock is lazy writing. I will read the next one but if it keeps going this way I might not be able to take it anymore.

FBI Agent Russo has come to town to try to spend a romantic weekend with Detective Kate Rosetti, who unfortunately can not seem to relax and forget about work. This time, a mobster is shot and killed in a local restaurant and her estranged father has suddenly cropped up with ties to the case and is refusing to give her an alibi.
I loved the surprise ending, and I am really rooting for Kate and Agent Russo to find a way to make it work, despite all of the work obligations. This is a fun quick read with a great mystery.
